(More customer reviews)I purchased this system from a local store here in Columbus and I was greatly disappointed with the product.Although in terms of style, this appears to be a great design, the shaver had an odd feel about it.After only a few weeks I was surprised to note that the plastic hood holding the micro-screens down onto the shaver had broken off on one side.The hood (or hair-pocket)is made of a poor grade of plastic and breaks fairly easily.Doing a Google search on the MS 900 shaver I was shocked to read about the number of customers who have experienced this same problem regarding the product.Upon contacting Remington's customer service I was informed that the product was no longer being manufactured by them and that they had no replacement parts for this shaver in stock (?)If I provided them my original cash register receipt I could have a replacement sent to me.
Now if you don't mind getting a replacement shaver (the shaver has a 2 year warranty but I need to find the original receipt...) then it's not a bad system, but how about Remington building one that doesn't break so easily.And if they don't make replacement parts then why sell the darn thing?I'm not a happy camper.
I would give it 0 stars if I could - Don't buy it.
Following up my original review - purchased in June (for Father's Day) - broken hood holding screens within a month.I've replaced the original hood but after ordering the part from Remington's store the cleaning system has started leaking fluid during cleaning.And I've had it less than 2 months...
Save your money and buy something else - this is a lemon...
