I bought this shaver a week ago and have been using it. I will return it for a refund and try a Braun. My ears have been hurting since I started using this shaver. It gets so loud when I get near the ears, it's too much because I have sensitive hearing. I considered using earplugs but I think that's too much.
I was impressed initially by the speed of the shave and how close it was. I thought it was like the manual shaver initially (like Mach 3) although I know that an electric will never beat a dedicated manual.
The handle feels big and awkward. The power button is awkward to press "On" as you have to press it very far into the handle to make it work.
I have used a Bruan 5416 for almost 10 years now and I'm trying to find something that will work better. This one works better, but I'd also like to keep my hearing for the next 30 years. That won't happen with this unit. Back to Remington it goes.
