(More customer reviews)The shave I get with this is fine, but be warned: The Norelco SpeedXL series has a built in blade life. Once Norelco thinks you need to change the blades (and they tend to think you should spend the $36more often than you will want), the shaver disables itself.

The way it does this is that it turns on the "change blade" warning LED. And this LED uses so much power that it drains the batteries in just over one day. Worse yet, the shaver will not operate unless the battery is charged, so this results in a dead shaver until you replace the blades.

Way to go Norelco. I used to be a big fan.

(More customer reviews)I've been epilating my underarms for about 6 years and just recently I braved it to do my legs. It's not that they hurt more or less, it's just that it takes long and my tolerance period runs out.My first epilator is also Braun and itworks perfectly after many years.I bought the 7280 because I misplaced the old one, so now I use both simultaneously and I finish faster. The 7280 is really cool because you can take off the epilating head to wash. Also, it comes with a shaving head and a light which is very helpful to locate strays. As for tips, for your first time you should wax the area first....you don't want to try epilating old hair, the roots are a lot harder and can even draw blood dots.Start off on the strays that waxing leaves behind, believe me, this little gadget picks up the tiniest hairs so it will have PLENTY to pull. It will hurt but you can take it. Be comitted! As soon as new hair starts to poke, epilate it. Don't give the roots any time to harden. The more often you do it, the better! If you won't epilate often, you are just going to torture yourself, so save your money. My only gripe is that the new model has tweezers which are half plastic and half metal.My old one was all metal and I feel like it pulled more hair. On the other hand, because of the plastic clamps, the 7280 is a tad quieter.

Axis AX-1300 Rev Foil Shaver Review

(More customer reviews)This is an excellent shaver and it is definitely worth the price paid. It is much better than it's counterparts from Braun and Panasonic. Braun has just one large foil on its PocketGo, while Panasonic has two, but lacks what this shaver has - the trimmer in between the foils, which cuts long hair.
When I opened this shaver and had to clean it for the first time, I noticed that workmanship is so-so (plastic-feeling), but when I found out it was washable, I was definitely happy. It works fine - takes me less time to shave than with previous Remington, which had only one foil and was as noisy as 747 taking off.
Moreover, this shaver's got the looks as well - so if you wanna take smth to the gym and not look like you're 65 (no offence to those of you who are), it would definitely turn some heads.
I personally think that this shaver is very good as a gift idea, shaver to go, or just an every-day shaver for guys with not too much facial hair (raising my hand).
All in all, the conclusion is if you have moderate facial hair growth, this baby is a steal. But for guys with serious beards, I'd suggest looking for something along the lines of Braun 5775 or 7260 - it's more powerful, but uses the sae cutting system as this shaver.

(More customer reviews)I needed a haircut pretty badly about a year ago after moving to a new city and so I was at Walmart (yeah, yeah, I know) and bought the cheapest thing they had for $10.This hair clipper is about the shoddiest piece of junk I've ever owned.Immediately after placing this review, I will be unceremoniously dropping this in the trash can.I wouldn't wish this product on anyone.

I followed the directions to the letter, cleaning and oiling after each use.It still caught and got stuck on even the smallest amount of hair.It would take me about an hour to get just the haircut done, having to go over the same spots at least a dozen times.And, after about six months of use, the attachment I primarily used started falling off, so I had to apply significant strength to keep the attachment on while attempting to simultaneously locate the next clump of missed hair.Disaster.I'm not buying another Vidal Sassoon "Professional" product ever again.

Next stop:The trash can.

Unfortunately the plastic guide does not fit the trimmer, so the razor itself is impossible to use. On top of which, Amazon doesn't handle returns, so the process of sending it back and receiving a refund is tiresome and slow. I have written to Norelco asking them to resurrect the T7500, a truly great razor, but there has been no reply. The search goes on.
